reunite |ˌrēyoŏˈnīt|verb come together or cause to come together again after a period of separation
What better way to rejoin the blogging world then by posting some photos of a day I spent with an old friend. Katie and Liam came to visit California all the way from Montana and I was lucky enough to get to spend time with them both. I hadn’t seen Katie in over five years. Katie has always held a special place in my heart, for she was one of my three roommates who lived with me in Massachusetts, while we both attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography. No doubt it was a strenuous 10 months at a really prestigious school, so we both saw the best and worst sides of each other. But I wouldn’t change it for anything. My favorite times there were actually outside of school, when we’d all gather together every Monday night to watch prison break, just jump in the car and go explore, or when we all spent Thanksgiving in Cape Cod and I was dared to jump in the freezing cold lake and did. This trip to California brought not only all these great memories back, but I also was able to meet her son, which was probably the best part. How can you not love that red hair! We had a great breakfast in San Pedro, caught up with each other, and held an impromptu photo session on her Aunt’s front lawn. Katie even took some pictures of me, at the time I was just about 5 months pregnant. So fun!
Thanks Katie and Liam, it was great seeing you. Montana in a year, here we come!
