…Location

location |lōˈkāSHən|noun a particular place or position

I tend to show up pretty early to my photo sessions, not only to scope out the location, but to stand in it, soak it all in, be a part of it. While waiting for my clients to show up this morning for our engagement session (those photos to come soon) I did just that. The day after Thanksgiving  in Golden Gate Park, early in the AM, watching a young man practice Thai-Chi in the distance, I stood in this space and a calm came over me.  I’ve been battling some depression for awhile and it is when I am alone in a beautiful place like this I find the inner peace I am searching for. I love mornings, I love the crisp air, I love feeling the warmth from hot chocolate on my hands, I love fall, I love trying to capture these feelings through my lens. Enjoy!
