I’ve known Karen all my life. She is my sister Marie’s, best friend. When I heard 5 months ago that she and her husband Joe, were expecting, I couldn’t help but become nostalgic. Karen and Marie used to annoy me so much. Typical little sister and friend, bugging big sister stuff. Hot pink spandex pants comes to mind for some reason and princess crowns on their joint birthday party. Well, needless to say Karen is all grown up now with only a short time to go before she’ll be a Mommy. Joe and Karen met me at Santa Clara University, (the university where they met and fell in love), for Pre-Christmas maternity photos. All the students were on break, so we had the school to ourselves. Both were good sports and anxious to meet their newborn. Karen and Joe I am so excited for you both. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this wonderful time in both your lives. I look forward to meeting your new baby!
