ease |ēz| noun absence of difficulty or effort
I’d love to say that each session I do starts out immediately with an absence of difficulty or effort, but that would be a lie. It always, as it should, takes a few setups to ease into picture taking. It’s unnatural for most people. So, as the photographer it is my job to make the clients feel as comfortable as possible. The setting and locations help immensely. Scott, Holly. and Eloise were looking for a beachy outdoors look for their recent family session. In the early morning a few weekends ago we found the perfect spot in Moss Beach. Mom and Dad were easy to work with and were happy with our setting (except for one minor detail…I’ll keep that as a little inside joke between us) and honestly it wasn’t hard getting great shots from two really attractive people!! Eloise on the other hand gave me a run for my money. She was in charge, she wasn’t gonna give into me with a smile, until she was ready. I was up for the challenWe played, I made silly sounds, I tickled her, and sang songs. Mostly, I waited! And waited. Then the one high five she was looking for from me turned the smiles on until the end of our session. We were friends, I was happy. Enjoy!
