The first annual Mahoney/Tursi Kickball Game was fantastic. For the second time this year I hosted a kickball game not only for the fun of playing kickball, but also to raise money for pediatric cancer. A bit of competitiveness reared its ugly head, but it was all in fun. Team Green and Team Blue played hard. Final Score: 7 to 7 Money Raised for Cancer: $210
I had the honor a few years ago to participate in a non-profit organization called Flashes of Hope. It is an organization that changes the way children with cancer see themselves through the gift of photography. An affiliate of FOH, called Kick It, is a national grassroots fundraising organization that unites communities in the fight against pediatric cancer through the game of kickball. Anyone can do it, and I encourage you all to go out try it; see how much fun it is with the added bonus of giving back.
What a good looking family!! It was really a fun afternoon. Thanks Katie.
Very nice, Katie. Wish we could have made it!
