anniversary |ˌanəˈvərsərē|noun the date on which an event took place in a previous year
One year ago today my friends Dionne and Maryann got married. One year ago today I was crossing my fingers. On my way to photograph Maryann’s getting ready pictures I was driving through a downpour of extreme rain. Rain is suppose to bring good luck on your wedding day, but when your ceremony is scheduled to be outdoors, the only luck you hope for is a bit of blue sky. Up to twenty minutes before the start of the ceremony the rain wouldn’t let up, then the good luck shone its face. The sun popped out, most of the black clouds turned white, and blue sky was plentiful. The ceremony was short and sweet and by the time the reception started an hour later (indoors), the downpour of rain started and remained until nights end.
Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Paco. What blessings your first year of marriage has brought!
